Introduction to Forensic Audio Analysis will introduce the fundamentals of audio, and the processing techniques for forensic audio clarification. This three-day hands-on workshop will cover sound fundamentals, forensic audio “Best practices,” common audio problems, and basic audio enhancement principles. Students will learn how to improve audio recording issues with software tools like Audacity, iZotope RX, Adobe Audition, and Pro Tools. Attendees will also receive information on forensic audio reference resources as well as an overview of other enhancement tools currently available.
